Competition is open state-wide

Our winners receive: 

• Miss

  • ​Each title, $1,000 Scholarship

  • $1,000 Tracey Revels Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a Miss contestant who demonstrates exemplary character responsibility, and timeliness. Chosen by the Manatee County Pageants Board. 

  • $300 Overall Interview Award 

  • $300 Overall Talent Award

• Teen

  • ​Each title, $500 Scholarship

• PAID: Entry, housing, and hotel for state competition

• PHOTOS: Professional head shot with Ted West Photography

• SKIN CARE: Year of customized skin care facials along with Image Skin Care Products, provided by Face Forward Studio

• BLING: Official Miss America Organization crown and sash, local trophy and flowers

• SUPPORT: A mentoring team with over 40 years combined experience with the Miss America Organization, including a Forever Miss Florida!

To compete, contestants must: 

• Miss: Candidate must a high school senior, graduate, or received a GED, at least 17 years old but no older than 25 years old as of the National Competition. Candidate must raise $100 to compete in local competition
  Teen: be at least 13 years old and not 18 years old  as of the National Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant.

• Each candidate has the opportunity to become a mentor with the Princess/Prince Program of the Miss Florida Competition. 

• Be a resident or student in the State of Florida and a US Citizen Competition is open state-wide.

• Have a talent and be an amateur; not under contract with any talent agency or professional agent. 

• Have never been married, had an annulled marriage, been pregnant, and be not the adoptive parent of a child. 

• All candidates must adhere to the 2019 Local Candidate Contract
